DOMAIN KEYWORD RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Domainomics uses keyword evidence to describe the market around a phrase—not to imply that a parked domain receives that traffic or will rank for the term. Pricing also considers naming quality, extension, length, buyer fit, comparable evidence, and liquidity.

WHAT EACH SIGNAL MEANS

Search demand

Estimated searches for the corresponding keyword phrase in the stated market and period. It is not traffic to the domain and may group close variants.

Cost per click

An estimate of advertiser competition and economics for the keyword. High CPC can indicate valuable customer intent, but it is not a domain appraisal by itself.

Trend

Direction across the available monthly series. Seasonality, news, and low-volume noise can distort short windows.

Naming quality

Length, spelling, recall, extension fit, natural language, buyer use cases, and category breadth are reviewed separately from keyword data.

REVIEW PROCESS

  1. 01

    Define the phrase

Record the corresponding keyword, geography, currency, and audit date shown on the listing.

  2. 02

    Compare sources

Review DataForSEO, SpyFu, and Google-sourced keyword data where available. Provider estimates can differ because their models, sampling, and refresh dates differ.

  3. 03

    Check interpretation

Separate exact wording from close variants, informational demand from buyer intent, and keyword economics from domain traffic.

  4. 04

    Price in context

Combine the evidence with length, clarity, memorability, extension, use cases, buyer pool, legal risk, and comparable-market context.
