Buyer guide
HOW BUYING A DOMAIN WORKS
A straightforward process designed to keep price, payment, and transfer expectations clear.
- 01
Choose a path
Accept the listed price, make an offer, request a payment plan, or ask about leasing. An inquiry is not a completed purchase.
- 02
Confirm the agreement
Domainomics confirms availability, price, transaction structure, buyer details, and the receiving registrar account.
- 03
Secure payment
The parties use an agreed escrow provider or registrar-supported transaction workflow. Payment instructions are confirmed before transfer.
- 04
Transfer the domain
The domain is pushed within the same registrar or transferred using an authorization code, depending on registrar and extension rules.
- 05
Take control
The buyer confirms receipt and configures DNS, hosting, email, and any website or product associated with the name.
What is included?
The transaction covers ownership of the domain registration. Hosting, websites, trademarks, social handles, historical traffic, backlinks, and business operations are not included unless specifically stated in writing.
